When I photograph kids of course I want the end result to be great photos for mom and dad to cherish, but I also want the kids to leave thinking that they had a great time. I like kids--- I have three of my own. I know that photo sessions can be  a drag for them. Not with me! We play games, hang from trees, piggy back rides, and wrestle with dad. Time and time again I have had parents tell me that they were amazed at how much fun their children had. Recently, I had a family of 8 children say that they had more fun at the photo session than they did at their reward of  lunch at Chick-fil-a afterward.-- Now that speaks for itself!!! Spring is here!!! Ahhhh...(yes, sigh with me).....ahhhh. This is my favorite time of year. The leaves are coming out, the flowers are in bloom-- greens, purples, reds, whites. Everything is coming back to life. It's a vibrant awakening. Sure enough, love is in the air too. It has been way too long...

Wow, it has been way too long since I have posted to my blog! So much has happened! Thanksgiving and Christmas have come and gone, we have moved into our new house, and I have had photo sessions galore. I will have to post some of the photos here soon. Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I love photographing weddings! I get to meet some of the neatest people. My most recent wedding couple was Martha and Shane. Here are a few "Sneak Peeks" from their wedding.  The harvest theme for their wedding was beautiful and VERY Michigan!!! I loved so many things about their wedding, but pay attention to their rings (awesome...I've never seen rings like these), flowers (beautiful), and Michigan Fall colors! Fall is an amazing time of year in the midwest. Martha you are a beautiful bride!!! Thanks for choosing me to photograph such a special day!
